"Brown Plays Bad"

ABC Soaps In Depth---November 12, 2002

Sarah Brown (ex-Carly, GH) talks about swinging back into action as a motorcycle-riding, pistol-packing, leather-clad villainess.

Having taken a professional "hiatus" after a 2001 run on PAX's Mysterious Ways, Brown returns with a bang on the Wednesday, November 13, episode of The WB's Birds of Prey, a comic book-inspired series about lady crimefighters lording over Batman's hometown.

"It's really cool!" says the actress of her role as Wolf, a member of a band of thieves. But wait, she's not playing in the leader?! "No, I'm second in command," Brown shrugs, noting that "it was 'interesting' to chew scenery - yet fun, because I had such a good time."

Impressing the multiple Daytime Emmy winner was Ashley Scott, who plays Batman's daughter, Huntress, on the series. "She's a total star, and a beautiful, wonderful person. Huge things are going to happen for her."

As for Birds co-star Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm, Y&R), on whom Brown's bandit gets to draw a gun, she raves, "What a doll! He's just amazing and could not be any better-looking. You're like, 'Oh my, God gave him a little extra!"
